The story that Jack tells Kate about counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 when you’re afraid—we finally get to see how it originated in the Season 5 finale
Cool that the smoke monster has been around since the beginning of the show. Every episode thereafter, we find out one more thing about it. (Look out for a future blog post that lists what we learn each time.)
Why does the man in black appear so mad that new people have arrived on the island? Had the candidates not come to the island, he would never had a chance to kill them. This is clearly why he kills the pilot, as he wants to ensure the candidates are stranded on the island.
I loved knowing that Walt is destined to become the future Jacob.
Was Locke actually being nice rather than weird when he flashed Kate the orange smile? She was doing the gruesome task of taking boots off the dead and he wanted to be silly so she could take her mind off it.
“You all everybody” is the worst song I’ve ever heard. Love that Charlie shows Kate the ring that his brother had given him in Season 3 “Greatest Hits”
Kate has a friend Beth? Really? From before she killed her step-father I suppose.
